The PC is named after a local bird SerindIT (Loriculus Galgulus Galgulus) which is friendly and loving.
SerindIT is the first Malaysian personal computer assembled by a local university (Universiti Utara Malaysia). The range of SerindIT computers are: PC, server, notebook and e-Book.
