R&D SerindIT.Com UUM is charted to assist universities, the government and private sectors in developement of ICT. This strategic mission has been carried out by deploying effective ICT applications and culvating a growth environment for ICT industry developement, with the strengthening of national and industrial competitiveness as one of our primary goals.

Our missions are to:

	Serve the government, society and the private sector in fostering the development of the information technology industry and moving towards a knowledge-based economy.
	Provide strategic and technical support to the government and the private sector in forming and improving ICT requirement and implementation.
	Promote ICT applications and training in various fields to further increase the productivity of domestic industries in reshaping our industries to conform to the New Age Era (k-Economy) for globalization.
	Enhancing the quality of ICT education for knowledge-based society and bridging the digital divide.
	Develop and transfer innovative and advanced information technologies to generate opportunities for the creation of new industries and the development of new products; reinforce the competitiveness of Malaysia's ICT in global markets.
